Wordingham has developed a custom manufacturing process for custom lens housings in volume of about 100 parts per year to 2000-4000 parts per year. Cost became a much bigger factor in the higher volumes while maintaining the high quality and tight tolerances required at assembly. Consolidating operational steps enables Wordinghamto hit a price point that works for both us and our customer.
