Wordingham custom manufactures barrel made out of 20% glass filled Ultem. There were 2 distinct challenges we had to overcome in order to successfully manufacture these in production volumes. The first challenge was the abrasive nature of the material. Wordingham Technologies is able to maintain quality while keeping production prices in line with customer expectations. The second challenge was holding the tight tolerance requirements in plastic at production volumes. Our customer has been very happy with the end result.
